Mission

My mission as a coach is to provide an environment that is led by the understanding that players have individual needs and goals that are different from one another and therefore require different coaching styles. Athletes are forever evolving. As a coach, it is my responsibility to evolve and learn alongside them while providing a platform where the athlete feels free and safe to grow, perform and ultimately succeed.

Vision

My vision is to establish a program that is consistently competing for Big Sky Championships and NCAA Tournament Appearance while graduating successful individuals who are prepared to rise up to any challenges they will face after graduation. A program where hard work and integrity is combined with fun and a positive student-athlete experience.

College Coaching Philosophy

My goal is to provide an environment where individual growth is encouraged in order to graduate student-athletes who have developed the tools necessary to succeed in future endeavors by providing a safe environment where the athlete feels free to perform.  As a coach, I strive to develop a student-athlete who is equipped to perform at the highest level possible both on and off the field by providing an environment where mistakes are encouraged to learn sport-specific and life skills that ultimately lead to a successful athlete and a contributing member of their community.

To accomplish this, a family-like culture is necessary. A culture where empathy and understanding provides a space where the athlete and the coaching staff can rely on each other. Where trust, collaboration, and belief in one another coincides. I believe as a coach, our responsibilities and roles go above and beyond the field of play - I work purposefully to create individual player-coach relationships that will last a lifetime.  The relationships that are built during a player’s collegiate experience is one that should extend well beyond their time on the field.
